About Plumtree International School of Care (PISC)

Affordable, practical and globally relevant training — empowering learners to build careers, businesses and stronger communities.

PISC Workshops

Our Story

PISC began with a simple idea: skills are the true currency of opportunity. We created a school that bridges the gap between education and employment — workshops, hands‑on training and programs designed so graduates leave with marketable skills, portfolios and confidence.

What started as a few vocational courses has grown into a full suite of offerings: dressmaking, nurse aide training, elderly care, special needs care, beauty therapy, childcare and academic education (Form 1–6).

Our Mission

To equip individuals with skills that matter — accessible, affordable and transformative training that prepares students for careers, entrepreneurship and leadership.

  • Empower individuals with confidence and independence
  • Strengthen families and communities through skilled graduates
  • Open global opportunities by aligning training with demand

Our Vision

To be a continental leader in practical education — producing graduates who are skilled, compassionate and globally competitive.

Our Values

Accessibility

Education within reach of everyone, regardless of background.

Practicality

Hands‑on skills that work in real life, not just on paper.

Compassion

Empathy and care are central to our caregiving programs.

Excellence

High standards in teaching, assessment and student support.

Innovation

Adapting quickly to keep training relevant in a changing world.

Our Campus

Located in Bulawayo at Africa House, 4th Floor, Office 413 (Cnr 10th & Five Street), our campus is built for practical learning: workshops, training rooms and student spaces where learning is active and applied.

Our Impact

Graduates open small businesses, find employment locally and abroad, and return benefits to their families and communities. PISC is a catalyst for community growth — training caregivers, teachers and entrepreneurs who strengthen local economies and social services.

Our People

Our trainers are practitioners with real-world experience. They teach, mentor and prepare students for the realities of work and entrepreneurship.

Looking Ahead

We continue expanding programs, strengthening partnerships and scaling PISC to serve more learners across Africa — integrating vocational training, academic excellence and personal empowerment.
